In this short film produced by DePaul’s Division of Mission and Ministry, game designer, Native American storyteller and DePaul instructor Allen Turner shares how his ethnic and cultural heritage, respect for ecological balance and dismantling artificial social hierarchies have shaped his career and informed how he helps individuals from underserved communities become the heroes of their own stories.

Turner is the creative director of DePaul Originals Game Studio and a senior professional lecturer in the Eugene P. Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media’s School of Design.
