From trying new foods to skydiving to exploring cultural monuments, DePaul students make the most of their study abroad experiences. These three winning videos from the Office of Global Engagement’s recent contest will whisk you around the world sans passport or airline ticket. Meet some of DePaul’s globetrotting adventurers below, view all the video entries here and don’t forget to read one student’s advice to those venturing abroad.
First place
Christine Mei is studying finance in the Driehaus College of Business. She participated in the program China: Business Behind the Great Wall in December 2016.
Second place
Jens Ericson is a film and television major in the College of Computing and Digital Media. He studied abroad at the University of Otago in New Zealand last year.
Third place
Morgan Edwards is studying accountancy in the Driehaus College of Business. She was based in Hungary for the program Budapest: Studies in Commerce, Society and Culture in Eastern Europe during the fall of 2016.
